Confession time! There are two things that I've still struggled with when it comes to eating better: drinking enough water and eating well on-the-go. When I see people carrying around a bottle of water, it always reminds me that I should be drinking more water. And then I grab a soda and forget all about it. One of the biggest challenges I have with drinking more water is that there's no taste. Since I've gotten used to drinking soda, I've gotten used to having something flavored to drink. Now, I can drink water when I eat, no problem. It's just that I struggle when it comes to something to sip in between meals.
Enter infused water! I'm finding that it's a lot easier to get more water in if I add more flavor to it. And this Blackberry Mint Infused Water certainly has plenty of flavor! The blackberries give it just the tiniest hint of sweetness, and the lime and mint give it a nice, refreshing flavor that makes it easier to sip in between meals. The flavor is also clean enough that it compliments meals, too. Another big challenge that I've had is finding healthy, on-the-go meal options. I've shared my struggles with staying on track weight-wise before. One of the hardest things, for me, has been eating well while on-the-go. One of the best grab-and-go options that I've found are elevĀte organic salads. I've been pretty hesitant to say that I like any ready-made meals. After all, I like to make my own meals. However, that's not always an option. There are lots of times where we're out running errands or out doing things and just can't eat a meal at home. Our restaurant options are fairly limited (we have just a few fast food places nearby), so I like having an option for those times.
I've found that it's just as easy to run into Walmart to grab an elevĀte organic salad as it is to wait through the drive-through line at a fast food restaurant. Plus, I feel so much better after! The salads are an easy way to eat clean food and feel great. All elevĀte organic salads are non-GMO verified, gluten free – except power grains, and they have less than 300 calories. Plus, through 5/17, all 8 flavors of elevĀte organic salad are on roll back at Walmart.
