California Club Croissant Sandwich recipe is an easy lunch or dinner croissant sandwich recipe with 2 types of cheese and 3 kinds of lunch meat in one flavorful sandwich!

These California Club Croissant Sandwiches have two types cheese - Baby Swiss and Sharp Cheddar, along with three types of lunch meat, bacon, avocado, lettuce, and tomato for one flavor-packed sandwich.

Cold croissant sandwiches like this one make a quick and easy lunch or light dinner. They're great year-round, but they are especially great during the summer as a no-cook dinner.

One of the best things about sandwiches is how easy they are to make.  I use pre-sliced cheese, and that makes the prep that much easier.

Sandwiches are also nice because they are easy to customize. So, if you're making sandwiches for a group, everyone can choose what goes onto their sandwich and make it just the way they want.

What can I do with store bought croissants?

Croissants make a great base for sandwiches! They're a tasty alternative to regular sandwich bread, and they make sandwiches seem fancier.

    Ingredients

    • Croissants: Be sure to use larger, sandwich-sized croissants, not mini croissants.
    • Cheddar cheese: Feel free to use another type of cheddar cheese like mild or medium cheddar.
    • Smoked chicken deli meat
    • Smoked ham deli meat
    • Smoked turkey deli meat
    • Swiss: If you can't find baby Swiss, regular Swiss cheese will work.
    • Bacon
    • Tomato
    • Avocado
    • Lettuce
    • Mayonnaise
    • Mustard

    Do these sandwiches travel well?

They do! The sandwiches are easy to transport.

They're perfect picnic sandwiches, great in lunches, and they work well for just about any occasion! Just keep in mind that the sandwiches do need to be kept refrigerated if they won't be eaten fairly promptly.

Are there really people who don't know how to make a sandwich? What's next a tasty recipe for captain crunch breakfast cereal? Step one pour cereal in bowl step two add milk. Enjoy! Our species is doomed.

Some people are looking for recipes for boeuf bourguignon, others are looking for a new sandwich idea. The great thing is that there are recipes for both!

ymmm! I have a soft spot for a perfect croissant! Especially for breakfast sandwiches. We recently discovered a bakery near us call the Paris Baguette. Highly recommend checking them out if one is near you:) I was in pastry heaven.
