One of the great things about grilling is how easy it makes things. We’re lucky to live in an area where the weather allows us to grill most of the year, and we grill almost every holiday weekend. Since one of the best things about grilling is making life easy, I like to make things simple by grilling up dinners like this Southwest Brat Burger.
These Southwest Brat Burgers start with Johnsonville grillers. The grillers are packed with flavor and are topped with plenty of Southwest toppings – pico de gallo, chipotle lime mayo, Pepper Jack cheese, jalapeno, and avocado. The burgers are super easy and super tasty – perfect for Memorial Day or any other day!
Southwest Brat Burger
- 1 package Johnsonville Grillers Original Bratwurst
Chipotle Lime Mayo
- 1/2 c . mayo lite or regular
- 1 1/2 T . fresh lime juice
- 1 tsp . chipotle hot sauce more to taste
- Pico de gallo
- Pepper Jack cheese sliced
- Jalapeno sliced
- Colby Jack cheese sliced
Grill Johnsonville grillers according to package instructions.
While cooking, make chipotle lime mayo.
Stir together mayo, lime juice, and chipotle hot sauce.
Refrigerate until ready to use.
When burgers are at temperature, place slice of cheese on bottom of bun.
Top with burger, another slice of cheese, avocado, pico de gallo, chipotle lime mayo, and sliced jalapeno.
