  • 1 cup real maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup fresh orange juice
  • 3 cups fresh cranberries
  • 1 teaspoon orange zest


  • Bring maple syrup, water, orange juice, and cranberries to a boil in a saucepan.
  • Reduce heat, and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Remove from heat, and stir in orange zest.
  • Pour cranberries into a serving dish, and let come to room temperature.
  • Cover, and chill until ready to serve.
