Add all of the ingredients into your bread machine in the order given by the manufacturer. The order is usually wet ingredients, dry ingredients, and yeast in a small well in the flour.
1 cup warm water, ⅓ cup whole milk, 3 tablespoons neutral oil, 3 tablespoons honey, 3 ¾ cups sifted all-purpose flour, 1 ¼ teaspoons salt, 1 ½ teaspoons instant yeast
Press the white bread cycle, and adjust the crust to the lightest or medium crust setting. I like to use the lightest setting for this recipe.
Remove the loaf, and let it cool on a wire cooling rack before slicing and serving.
Notes
Milk: I've also used 2% milk in this recipe. You could also use dairy-free milk like almond milk.
Oil: I use olive oil when I make this bread, but a similar neutral oil will also work.
Flour: To properly measure the flour, weigh it or sift/stir to break it up, lightly spoon into a measuring cup, and level. This will avoid packing the flour.
