lean ground beef

smoked paprika

onion powder

garlic powder

dried oregano

cayenne pepper

vegetable oil

yellow onion
thinly sliced
1
green bell pepper
thinly sliced

red bell pepper
thinly sliced

orange or yellow bell pepper
thinly sliced
Serving tortillas or rice avocado/guacamole, salsa, sour cream, shredded cheese, jalapeños, hot sauce, etc.
Instructions
Heat a large skillet over medium heat.
Add the ground beef and cook, stirring to break apart, until browned.
1 pound lean ground beef
Add in all spices and stir well to coat. Continue cooking for another 2-3 minutes.
2 teaspoons chili powder,
1 teaspoon smoked paprika,
½ teaspoon salt,
½ teaspoon ground cumin,
½ teaspoon onion powder,
½ teaspoon garlic powder,
½ teaspoon dried oregano,
¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside. Drain the grease.
Add in vegetable oil, onion, and bell peppers.
1 tablespoon vegetable oil,
1 yellow onion,
1 green bell pepper,
1 red bell pepper,
1 orange or yellow bell pepper
Sauté over medium heat until vegetables are tender, about 8-10 minutes.
Add beef back in and stir well.
Remove from heat.
Serve in tortillas with desired toppings.
Notes
Ground beef:
You could also use ground turkey if you prefer.
Seasonings:
A packet of taco seasoning can be used in place of the seasonings.
Serving:
Ground beef fajitas can be served in tortillas or with rice. The mixture can also be used as burrito filling or to top nachos.
