Add the ingredients in the order given by your bread machine’s instructions. This will usually be wet ingredients, then dry ingredients with the yeast in a small central well in the flour.
Press the basic cycle and adjust the crust color to the lightest setting. If you don’t have a basic setting, you can use the white bread setting.
Once the bread has finished baking, remove from the pan and let it cool before cutting and serving.
Notes
Milk: I use the milk that I have at the time, which is usually 2%. You could also use dairy-free milk like almond milk.
Oil: I use olive oil when I make this bread, but a similar neutral oil will also work.
Flour: To properly measure the flour, weigh it or sift/stir to break it up, lightly spoon into a measuring cup, and level. This will avoid packing the flour.
