Pour the chocolate chips in an even layer in a 9-inch cast iron skillet. If using a different type of oven-safe skillet, grease the skillet before using.
20 ounces semisweet chocolate chips
Place the peeps in an even layer over the chocolate chips.
4 small packages Easter Peeps
Bake for about 6-10 minutes, or until Peeps are golden brown. Keep an eye on the peeps starting at 4 minutes as they can quickly get overcooked.
Remove from oven, and let the dip sit for about 5-10 minutes so the chocolate can continue to melt before serving.
Notes
Chocolate chips: Feel free to use milk chocolate chips for sweeter dip and bittersweet or dark chocolate chips for less sweet dip.
Peeps: I use plain colored Peeps. You can use flavored Peeps if you prefer.
