    Cinnamon Roll Bar Recipe

Really, is there anything that smells better than cinnamon rolls in the oven? Between the baking dough and the buttery cinnamon filling, cinnamon rolls smell divine!

And, of course, they don't taste so bad either! Since it's the cookie time of year, I decided to make the next best thing - these Cinnamon Roll Bars. These bars are rich and buttery and full of sweet, cinnamon-y goodness. They are the perfect addition to any cookie tray and make a delicious, easy treat!

Could you cut it in half and do it in an 8x8 or 9x9?

Hi! I haven't halved this recipe, but an 8x8 pan should be half of a 9x13 recipe. Hope that helps!

I love these so much just in the process of making another batch. Quick question- when do you stop cooking the mixture? Before putting the eggs in?

I'm so glad!! Sorry that isn't more clear! Yes, you stop cooking it before you add in the eggs and vanilla.

I made scrambled eggs in the process of adding in the eggs to the brown sugar- butter mixture. I was unaware I was supposed to stop cooking it so the end result was an unneeded breakfast special. lets just say, it was a grave mistake....

Thank you for the feedback! I apologize that it wasn't clearer, and I've added a note to remove from heat.

Should the amount of brown sugar be 4 cups?

Yes, it's 4 cups. The bars are thick and quite rich!
