- Garlic salt: The garlic salt also helps to add more garlic flavor. If you are concerned about sodium, you can use additional garlic powder in place of the garlic salt.

Step 1: Preheat oven to 350F.
Step 2: Slice the loaf of bread in half lengthwise. Set aside.
Step 3: In a medium bowl, add the butter and stir the butter to soften and mix it.
Step 4: Add the garlic, garlic powder, and garlic salt. Stir together until well-combined.
Step 5: Spread half of the garlic butter mixture on one half of the bread.
Step 6: Spread the remaining half of the garlic bread on the remaining half of the bread.
Step 7: Place the buttered bread on a large rimmed baking sheet.
Step 8: Bake for about 10-15 minutes or until light golden brown.
Step 9: Slice into pieces and serve.

- Variations:
- Garlic cheese bread: You can sprinkle on shredded cheese during the last 3-4 minutes of baking for garlic cheese bread.
- Garlic herb bread: You could also sprinkle a little Italian seasoning in with the garlic powder and garlic salt for garlic herb bread.
- Parsley: Feel free to sprinkle a little fresh parsley on for bit of freshness just before serving.
- Garlic butter spread: The garlic butter can be used in any number of ways. You can use it on rolls, on toast, or even to make grilled cheese.
Storage
Garlic bread can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for 1-2 days. If you would like to store leftover garlic bread for longer, wrap it tightly in plastic wrap and then in aluminum foil. Freeze for up to 1 month.
