Ingredient notes and substitutions
- Sugar: Depending on how ripe and sweet your fruit is, you may want to adjust the amount of sugar accordingly.
- Fruit: Feel free to vary the fruit depending on your tastes, the season, and what you have on hand. Some fruit, though, like fresh bananas don’t keep as well as others.

Recipe Tips!
- Cutting the pineapple: Unsure about how to cut the pineapple? If so, check out my tips for how to cut pineapple.
- Syrup: It’s important to let the syrup cool to room temperature so that it doesn’t cook the fruit.
- Make ahead: You can make this recipe several hours in advance. I don’t recommend making it more than 1 day in advance as the strawberries can wilt.

Storage
Store any leftover orange fruit salad in an airtight container in the refrigerator. It will keep for 3-4 days when properly stored in the fridge.
